1. It’s home to the world’s fastest rollercoaster
Formula Rossa is the world’s fastest rollercoaster. This white-knuckle ride has a top speed of 240km per hour due to its hydraulic launch system which catapults you 52 metres in the air, leaving you to catch your breath. It’s the ultimate adrenaline rush with 4.8Gs hitting your pre-goggled face, which matches the G force you would feel in an F1 car.
2. You can ride the world’s tallest inverted loop
You can break another record as you ride the Flying Aces rollercoaster with the tallest inverted loop in the world at a stomach-churning 63m up in the air. Once at the top, the ride dives into a pit reaching its top speed of 120km per hour. The coaster is inspired by the legendary Italian World War I aviator, Count Baracca and is themed around a famous bi-pilot plane.
3. The unique structure is adorned with the world’s biggest ever Ferrari logo
The breath-taking structure, inspired by the classic double curve side profile of the Ferrari GT body with its curvature and smooth lines, is adorned with the world’s biggest ever Ferrari logo. The logo is measured at 65m x 49m, making sure all in the sky recognize the iconic sports car brand’s signature theme park. It can even be spotted from space!
4. You can walk on the iconic red roof
The 90-minute Roof Walk Experience enables you to walk on the world’s most iconic red roof. Guests will be able to ascend onto the roof, get up close to the famous logo and admire the spectacular views over Yas Island. You can also book a Zip Line experience which flies through the Flying Aces loop. Please note, these experiences are seasonal so please check availability before booking.
5. The racing simulators use the same technology as the Ferrari racing team
The state-of-the-art racing simulators called the Scuderia Challenge, use the same technology as the Ferrari racing team. You can experience a high velocity race around a virtual Yas Marina Circuit, meaning you get to scrub up on your straights and bends in the real deal. Please note, this is a timed attraction and places are limited so make sure to get there early and book your slot.
6. You can drive a real Ferrari with a racing expert
Enjoy a memorable ride in a Ferrari, where you can either choose to drive it yourself or sit back and relax in the passenger seat. If you choose the driving experience, get ready for a once in a lifetime experience. First, you will receive a lesson into how to drive the car from one of the trained experts and then you’ll be ready to go. Please note, you need to be over the age of 21 and hold a valid driver’s licence to drive the car.
7. There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has plenty of rides and entertainment that makes sure the kids have an absolute blast too. The Family Zone is home to miniature versions of the park’s most iconic rides. Kids can feel the joy of riding the world’s fastest rollercoaster, in their own mini version. Formula Rossa Junior is based on the track of the great Formula Rossa and reaches a speed of up to 45km per hour. Other kid friendly attractions include Junior Grand Prix, Speedway Race, Flying Wings, Tyre Twist and much more.
8. You can feast on Italian cuisine
After all the excitement of the day, transport yourself to the native country of Ferrari and fuel up on some authentic Italian cuisine. You will find several dining options available, each one serving delicious food with warm hospitality. Stop for a coffee and pastry at Espresso Rosso and enjoy the ambience of an Italian coffee bar. Head to Mamma Rossella, a fast-food trattoria, serving a tasty menu of fresh pastas and authentic Neapolitan pizzas. And if you’re after something a little more international then Il Podio serves Arabic, Indian and Western cuisine.
9. Ferrari World Abu Dhabi hosts year-round events and celebrations
Ferrari World Abu Dhabi hosts a whole calendar of seasonal celebrations and events. From festive shows to special ladies-only events, make sure to check what’s on ahead of your visit. The park has also hosted special exhibitions in the past such as The Hypercar exhibition, which featured a variety of limited-edition Ferraris.
