10 places to go glamping in America

From upstate New York to the Southwest, Musement takes a look at ten of the most idyllic places to go glamping in America.

Are you curious about camping, but don’t want to give up a real bed, indoor plumbing, and an electric coffeemaker? Then you should give glamping a try. Glamping, a portmanteau that combines glamorous and camping is a popular way to enjoy the great outdoors and the equally great indoors. Glamping camps, ranches, and resorts are popping up all over the country. Here are ten of our favorites:

1. Conestoga Ranch

Hit the trail for a stay at the Conestoga Ranch in Garden City, Utah, where guests can bunk in custom-made Conestoga wagons. Perfect for couples or families with a pioneer spirit, this western-themed glamping resort outfits its accommodations with hotel quality amenities. Value-priced traditional tents and upscale tents that can fit up to six people are available in addition to the Conestoga wagons. The Grand Couples Tents, Grand Family Tents, and Royal Tent Suite have en-suite bathrooms, comfortable furnishings, and private campfire patios.

Feeling all the moody dome vibes today ✌️. . Guys I have to tell you: I am INCREDIBLY excited for all the photo shoot bookings that are coming in!! 😍📸I snapped this one yesterday before my shoot with Lana and Demetri up at Dome 2. . I think shooting guest photos is my new favorite thing! Yesterday I was sitting on the couch grinning and Patrick said: “what’s going on with you?” . To which I replied “what do you mean, I’m in a good mood!” . Patrick: “I know, you haven’t stopped smiling or laughing all day” . I thought about it for a second and realized he was right: I’ve been RIDICULOUSLY happy!! It’s the photos! I freaking love taking all of these photos with our guests!” . I haven’t been this giddy about something, aside from planning our wedding, since I got my first car in high school 🚗 😅!! . When was the last time you felt that explosive, bubbling over, JOY? What makes you burst with happiness when you’re doing it? . . . #asheville #glamping #dome #campvibes #photography #ashevilleglamping #bedroom #cabinporn #cabin #camplife
