This year, Abu Dhabi is hosting the last Formula One World Championship race at the Yas Marina Circuit this winter.

The highest class of single-seater auto racing in the world, the Formula 1 Grand Prix is an adrenaline-filled event with a history and tradition that dates back to 1894 in France where the race got its name:‘Grand Prix’ means ‘grand prizes’. The 2019 F1 season includes races around the world, from Australia to China to Monaco and more leading up to the final that will culminate in Abu Dhabi from November 29 until December 1, and you can get your tickets here.

Each Formula One season is made up a series of practice sessions and qualifiers raced by experienced drivers. The final race takes place at the Yas Marina Circuit with an impressive capacity of 60,000 and one of the world’s longest straight-aways of 1,173 meters (0.723 miles). Despite the long straight-away, this circuit is known to be a technical track that should provide viewers with an engaging race while drivers attempt to pass each other at speeds pushing 350 kph (217.48 mph).
